Growth of Ice Crystals on Solid Surfaces,
Abstract
This report discusses the general problem of the growth of crystals. It includes a short history of the phenomenon of accumulation of ice crystals. The processes of the structural formation of a polycrystalline unit are discussed. The theory of a passive orienting influence of a surface on growing crystals is considered.
