A Device for Damping a DC Electric Drive,

Abstract

A device for damping a DC electric drive is proposed, which is characterized by the addition of a symmetrical thyristor connected in parallel to the motor armature. This reduces the period of the motor rotation by inertia, thereby achieving the desired low run-out feature, which is the purpose of the invention.
