Naval Reserve Management under the Navy's Total Force Policy.

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is threefold: (1) To explore the evolution of the financial management system in the Department of Defense and how the Department of the Navy interfaces with the current process, (2) To examine development of the Naval Reserve role in the Navy's emerging Total Force Policy, and (3) To evaluate progress with key Naval Reserve Management problems which affect attainment of the Navy's Total Force Policy.
