An Experimental Limit on the Time Variation of the Fine Structure Constant.
Abstract
An experimental limit is placed on the possible time variation of the fine structure constant alpha by comparing the linear frequency drift rate of an ensemble of three improved superconducting-cavity stabilized oscillators with respect to an ensemble of cesium frequency standards for a period of 12 days.
