The Fields of Buried ELF Antennas.
Abstract
This paper treats the electrical characteristics of horizontal ELF transmitting antennas buried in homogeneous and layered ground. Formulas and graphs which relate the transmitted power, the input power and the near fields to the antenna length, current, depth of burial and to the ground properties are presented.
