Fluidic Armament Control System (FACS) Elevation Axis Vortex Rate Sensor-Controller Unit.
Abstract
The results of a development program to build and test one Fluidic Armament Control System (FACS) Elevation Axis Vortex Rate Sensor-Controller Unit are presented. Synthesis and analytical design work for this system were presented in the final report of Contract DAAF01-69-C-0320. Some brief additional analytical work is presented, along with design information on the various system components. Test data on the components, as well as the complete unit, is provided. System performance is also compared to the design goals previously established in the above-mentioned contract.
