The Marine Corps Human Relations Program: A Study in the Institutionalization of Social Change. Volume 1

Abstract

The report describes research conducted and the procedures followed in order to implement and institutionalize a human relations training program throughout the entire Marine Corps. An attempt was made to follow and test a number of general social-change principles in carrying out this work. This report is an account of more than five years of research and development in the implementation of a human relations program throughout the Marine Corps. It is written to be useful to those contemplating the initiation and institutionalization of social change on a mass scale.
