Computer Program for Predicting Casualties and Damage from Accidental Explosions
Abstract
A computer program has been prepared in Fortran language for calculating expected numbers of casualties by blast and fragment injury in a population of unprotected persons, and damage to unstrengthened residential buildings by blast from explosions. The program generates tables of injury probability, percent casualties, and percent building damage as functions of distance from block stacks of mass-detonating bombs and projectiles described in the input data.
