Optimal Multiloop Feedback Active RC Filters.

Abstract

A method for synthesizing optimal multiloop feedback active RC filters is described. The method allows the topology to grow and develop new feedforward and feedback paths and modify existing paths while keeping the transfer function invariant. Numerical examples and experimental results are given to demonstrate how the topology develops. Also the multiloop model used for the optimization is shown to be applicable to a wide range of existing filter types.
