An Improved 2,4,6-Trinitrobenzenesulfonic Acid Method for the Determination of Amines.
Abstract
A sensitive method employing 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid as a colorimetric reagent for the quantitative determination of amines, amino acids and proteins in solution is described. This method eliminates the quenching step employed by previous investigators and increases the sensitivity of the method.
