Fenchel's Hypothesis and the Existence of Recession Directions in Convex Programming,

Abstract

Given a consistent convex programming problem and one of its dual problems, Fenchel's hypothesis for the dual problem is related to the existence of recession directions and a nonempty bounded optimal solution set for the primal problem. (Author)
