An Algebraic Method for Multivariable Missile System Analysis and Synthesis.

Abstract

Missile systems are typical multivariable control systems with few available practical approaches in the frequency domain. A frequency approach is developed in this research which makes use of an algebraic procedure for the analysis and synthesis of multivariable control systems. The newly developed matrix Cauer forms are used as bases for the investigation. The topics involved in this research can be outlined as follows: (1) the state-of-the-art is reviewed and research problems are identified, (2) 3 Cauer forms and the matrix Cauer forms are derived and extended (3) properties and applications of the matrix Cauer forms are discussed.
