Design Analysis Report OOD Simulation.

Abstract

This report, although preliminary, develops a solution to a shiphandling simulator programmed for an UNREP (Underway Replenishment) operation. Ultrawide angle (70 deg x 180 deg) high brightness, television techniques are employed in the visual display breadboard. The design analysis includes a method for selecting the optics, estimates that the required system resolution should be 246 TV lines vertical and 1110 TV lines horizontal and that a video bandwidth of 40 megahertz would be required.
