High Temperature Deformation Behavior of Ceramics.

Abstract

Studies have been conducted to define the creep behavior of high temperature ceramic materials of interest to the Air Force. The results of a study of yttria stabilized zirconia, a material used in regenerative storage heaters for blow down wind tunnels, are summarized. References to publications that present the details of this study are given.
