Global Distribution of High-Altitude Ozone from a UV Spectrometer.

Abstract

A satellite-based uv spectrometer that obtained daytime earth radiance measurements in the 1700- to 3100-A region is described. Radiance and earth albedo data are displayed, and a list of available data is provided. A parameter related to the relative high-altitude (h = or > 35 km) ozone concentration is correlated with solar zenith angle, time, and geographic position.
