Transition Metal and Lanthanide Compounds.

Abstract

New research results in the following areas are briefly described: The synthesis of polyphosphines and their metal complexes including polyphosphines with terminal methyl and neopentyl groups; reactions of polypyrazolylborates with the metal complexes C5H5Co(CO)(R(f)I(R(f)= perfluoroalkyl group), C3F7Fe(CO)4I, ((CH3)3Pt)4, and C3H5Fe(CO3I; reactions of cyclopentadienyl and allyl molybdenum derivatives with alkyl isocyanides; redox chemistry of hexamethylbenzene niobium and tantalum derivatives; and lanthanide nitrate complexes of certain macrocyclic polyethers and the use of macrocyclic polyether columns for lanthanide separations.
