Descriptions of the Simulation Models of the Defense Communications System Performance Simulator.

Abstract

The DCS Performance Simulator is a collection of models and associated programs that analyze the performance and assist in the design of switched communications networks. This report describes five of these models used in studying both circuit-switched and store-and-forward networks, including AUTOVON and AUTODIN. The models are in FORTRAN 4 and ANSI COBOL programming languages and are operational on the IBM 360 and 370 computers. (Author)
