Geographical Location of Members of the Ready Reserve (Not on Active Duty).

Abstract

The special report displays the geographical location of all members assigned to the Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve as of June 30, 1975. The data were compiled from each Reserve Component's master file submission (DD-M(M)1147) by extracting the first three digits of the Zip code for each member's residence (data field number 9). To assist in interpreting the location of the three digit ZIP code, a numerical and an alphabetical index has been reproduced from the 1974 National ZIP Code Directory.
