Manpower for the National Guard.

Abstract

The report is focussed on Guard recruiting/retention problems, with enough information on Defense manpower programs in general to provide a perspective. It summarizes events of the past year, and appraises prospects for 1972, in such fields as volunteer force planning and funding, incentives and legislative needs, development of a recruiter structure, in-service recruiting, minority membership, information programs and related areas.
