International Conference (11th) on Applied Military Psychology

Abstract

The 11th International Conference on Applied Military Psychology convened invited psychologists from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, USA and the Federal Republic of Germany. The meeting was unstructured inasmuch as few formal papers were presented; however, discussions covered five areas of appearance of possible problems stemming from diversity. These were (1) intake and retention, (2) tasks and assignments, (3) the leadership problem, (4) training, and (5) life beyond the task.
