Present Concepts in Internal Medicine, Hematology Symposium 1975,

Abstract

The symposium consists of seven articles of which the first two review various methods of granulocyte collection as well as other clinical applications of cell separators. Then one article presents a discussion usefulness of these techniques which is followed by a state of the art of present and potential clinical usefulness of these techniques which is followed by a state of the art review of bone marrow transplantation. The remainder of the symposium consists of a discussion of liquid blood preservation, a review of common anemias seen in clinical practice, and a case report on successful use of dimercaprol in gold-induced thrombocytopenia.
