Investigation of Accessibility Changes in Crystalline Cellulose.
Abstract
This project is directed towards an analysis of the action pattern of the enzyme components in the cellulase complex and detecting the changes in the fine structure of cotton cellulase brought about by these various cellulase components, particularly C(1). The experimental methods include: infrared deuteration; methylation procedure; acid hydrolysis of methylated fibers; gas-liquid chromatographic analysis of the hydrolysates; electron microscopy.
