Concept Definition of the Army Environmental Technical Information System.
Abstract
The objectives of this study were to analyze the user requirements for Army Environmental Technical Information System and to develop a detailed design and an implementation plan for the system. Over 50 individuals were interviewed in 19 government agencies and offices to determine current patterns of generation and use of environmental information. An analysis of these current methods and resources is presented and a system structure is proposed that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the present methods for meeting the needs of the Army for environmental information.
