Precipitation Scavenging of Organic Contaminants

Abstract

A gas-chromagraphic technique has been employed to measure the solubilities of diethylamine and ethyl acetoacetate in water at low concentrations. Diethylamine solubility was found to increase with decreasing concentration and increasing acidity. Ethyl acetoacetate solubility was found to decrease with decreasing concentration.
