Geomorphology, Shallow Structure, and Sediments of the Florida Inner Continental Shelf, Cape Canaveral to Georgia.

Abstract

The inner Continental Shelf off eastern Florida was surveyed to obtain data on bottom morphology and sediments, subbottom structure, and sand deposits suitable for beach restoration and nourishment. Primary survey data consist of 1,153 miles of seismic reflection profiling and 197 sediment cores. (Author)
