Approximations to the Distributions of the Determinants of Real and Complex Multivariate Beta Matrices.
Abstract
In this report, the authors have approximated the distributions of certain powers of the determinants of the real and complex multivariate beta matrices with suitable Pearson type distributions. Using these approximations, the authors constructed percentage points of the distributions of the above determinants. The usefulness of these tables is illustrated with the data on the vibrations of a C-5A aircraft.
