Linearity Analysis of Calibrations of Type IC/E28-6 Rodmeters,
Abstract
An analysis was conducted to evaluate the linearity of the generated speed signal (voltage) of type IC/E 28-6 rodmeters with respect to the speed of the rodmeter through the water. This type rodmeter, as presently manufactured, produces a voltage signal that is linear with speed of the rodmeter through the water to within a few hundredths of a knot.
