A Computer Program for Plotting the Cellular Structure of Ships,

Abstract

A computer program, PROPLOT, that produces CALCOMP plotting tapes that are used to display various views of a ship's cellular structure is described. The modeling concept used and a description of the program are presented. Single or multiple CALCOMP plots of a ship's transverse, longitudinal, and plan views may be made. Some possible uses of these plots and the descriptive file that is used to make them are presented. The program can be run on a CDC-6700 or IBM 360/91 computer.
