Resonance of Electromagnetic Waves on Cross-Monopole Wire Structures.

Abstract

The investigation experimentally determines the input impedance characteristics of cylindrical monopole and cross-monopole antenna structures of various lengths at 2-12 GHz frequencies. The analyses of the wire structures include a physical reasoning of resonance effects contributed by various members of the cross-monopoles.
