Mosquitoes of the Papuan Subregion.

Abstract

The Bishop Museum New Guinea Mosquito Project, because of funding difficulties, is being terminated. The vast amount of material with associated ecological data has been processed. This information will be included in a synthesis volume entitled Collection Records of the Project 'Mosquitoes of the Papuan Subregion'. During the period July 1, 1974 to March 31, 1975, three papers on mosquitoes of the Papuan Subregion were published; an additional paper is in press. Most of the effort during the year has been put into the completion of the synthesis volume. All pages (1430) have been completed and are being edited.
