Mathematical Model of an Air Cushion Vehicle

Abstract

This report describes the development of a mathematical model of the Bell Aerospace Air Cushion Vehicle Landing Craft (JEFF-B). The model is intended for use in a real time hands on pilot training simulator. Equations of motion, cushion dynamics, control and machinery dynamics and water wave effects are modeled.
