Skylab Altimetry Data Reductions and Development of Programs for Pre and Post Processing of Altimetry Data for SARRA Reductions.

Abstract

The reductions of the skylab altimetry data offered the first opportunity to reduce real data with the SARRA computer program. The results from residual evaluations clearly illustrate the presence of a severe undulation in the vicinity of the Puerto Rico Trench. Pre and post processing programs were developed to supplement the operation of the program SARRA and to assist in the evaluation and presentation of the geoid results obtained from SARRA reductions.
