Solution of Thin-Wire Moments Problems by Banded Matrix Iteration.

Abstract

An extensive number of examples where banded matrix iteration techniques were used as the solution algorithm in the method of moments are presented. The antenna examples solved using the banded matrix solution technique include: helix, rhombic, long crossed wires, parallel wires, collinear wires, linear array dipoles, circular array dipoles and wire grids. Preliminary guides for segment numbering as used in the banded matrix technique are also presented.
