Solid-State Properties of Transition Metal Complexes.

Abstract

The report describes the work on solid-state properties of transition metal complexes. Several different types of transition metal complex systems with anisotropic solid-state interactions have been prepared and studied using electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, and spectral measurement methods. The results of these measurements and accompanying x-ray structural studies have been used to derive structure-property relationships and to obtain information regarding the nature of the intermolecular interactions occurring in the solid state.
