Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion: A Model Approach.

Abstract

An Ocean Thermal Energy conversion model was successfully built and it has demonstrated the feasibility of power generation from small temperature differences similar to those existing in the tropical oceans. Seventy watts of electrical power were generated at a pressure different of .32 psi, corresponding to an 11 F internal temperature differential. The model, the proceedings and details are described in the work.
