Calculation of the Reinforced Thin-Walled Structures by the Method of Finite Elements (Raschet Podkreplennykh Tonkostennykh Konstruktsii Metodom Konechnogo Elementa),

Abstract

One variant of the finite element method is presented as applicable for calculations of the reinforced thin-walled structures (flat and curved panels, wings and empennage of different schemes, fuselage sections). The applicability of the method coupled with a computer programming is illustrated by several actual calculations. Theoretical results are compared with experimental data.
