Abstract

The objective of this study was to conduct an analysis of the energy resources and programs of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and their relationship to the rest of the world. This appendix examines the geophysical characteristics of oil deposits in the Soviet Union and estimates the magnitude of Soviet oil resources and reserves and oil resources of Eastern Europe.
