Study of the Three Centimeter Radio Frequency Emanation from the Solar Atmosphere,

Abstract

Observations of the quiet sun and two solar active regions are discussed. The quiet sun is found to consist of a number of radio sources with lifetimes greater than two hours. Power spectra of the time variation of these sources reveal no periodicity.
