Abstract

The mission of the US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory is to conduct fundamental and applied research on the medical aspects of Army aviation, airborne and ground operations that affect the health, welfare and efficiency of the soldier; perform medical research on visual/auditory functions; man/machine integration; the medical aspects of non-medical materiel; physiological/psychological responses to the operational environments; and military operational training impacts upon ecology.
