Creating Interorganizational Coordination: Project Report.

Abstract

The report describes a research utilization effort designed to synthesize the existing research knowledge about Interorganizational Coordination and to develop preliminary training and orientation materials that could be used to teach relevant personnel how to create effective coordination. Phase 1 included an exhaustive study of past interorganizational coordination efforts. The product of Phase 1 was a two day seminar where the body of knowledge relating to interorganizational coordination was presented and the potential usefulness of this knowledge for civil preparedness evaluated. Phase 2 of the project included the development of preliminary orientation and training materials that could be used to create effective interorganizational coordination. The product of Phase 2 was a two day training demonstration seminar on interorganizational coordination.
