The Multinational Corporation: Implications for U.S. National Security. An Executive Summary.

Abstract

This study traces the development of the multinational firm as an important actor in the national political and economic environment and examines current US national security issues in light of this phenomenon. Extensive research and a series of interviews with a wide variety of participants in multinational economic operations provide a basis for conclusions in four specific areas: allocation of resources worldwide, political implications, economic effects, and the interaction of the multinational enterprise with rapidly changing technology.
