Medical-Treatment Chest for Tactical Aeromedical Airlift.

Abstract

The medical-treatment chest for tactical aeromedical airlift was designed to provide a portable, compact, compartmentalized supply chest for bulkhead storage of small equipment and treatment items used for patient care on C-130 aircraft. A medical chest that most nearly met the design specifications was obtained and modified in-house, retaining its desirable features and adding others to enhance its functionability. The 9th Aeromed Evac Gp (PACAF) performed a modified operational test and evaluation of the prototype. The unit was accepted as modified.
