Linear Programming with the Method of Multipliers.

Abstract

In this thesis it is shown that the method of multipliers, a technique for nonlinear programming, can be used to solve linear programs in a finite number of steps. A computational procedure is developed with particular attention paid to linear optimal control problems. The results of some computational experiments are reported.
