NAVLIS Requirements Analysis for CINCPACFLT.

Abstract

This study was directed toward investigating potential use of Navy Logistics Information Sharing (NAVLIS) by CINCPACFLT logistics managers. NAVLIS is being designed as a network of existing logistics systems to provide real time access to logistics data by logistics managers. This access would be to logistics systems of other manager's - a capability not currently available. The philosophy is that pertinent data being collected by certain managers in the performance of their responsibilities would be useful to other managers in the logistics management field.
