A New (Revised) Tabulation of the Scripps Topography on a 1 degree Global Grid. Part 2. Ocean Depths

Abstract

A revision and retabulation of world-wide ocean depth data originally prepared at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography is given. Revisions to the original data include the redefinition of coastal regions and the insertion of islands and lakes; no revision has been made in the remaining oceanic depths. The newly formatted global 1-deg tabulations of ocean depth are supplemented by a global analysis, frequency histograms, and zonal averages.
