Turbofan Cycle, Performance and Design Analysis,

Abstract

A turbofan cycle analysis has been carried out to predict the effect of cycle independent variables - e.g. compressor pressure ratio, bypass ratio, fan pressure ratio and turbine entry temperature - on specific fuel consumption. Influence of these variables on engine performance for different flight conditions and engine ratings has been shown.
