Current Measurement System Design Support. Volume II.

Abstract

The report documents the design support and engineering services provided to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command to establish a system to reliably measure deep ocean currents in support of ocean engineering and construction projects. The report includes an environmental model, a survey of current meters, moor/meter interaction analysis, subsystem tests, system trade-off studies, system design and procurement specifications.
