Abstract

The System for Topographic Inquiry (STOPIN) Alphanumeric Subsystem is an on-line, topographic data system developed to demonstrate the capability to store, retrieve, and disseminate large quantities of nongraphic topographic information. This report explains the language used and the methods employed by the software and provides a guide for using the interactive and batch commands of STOPIN.
