Acoustic Surface Wave Fabrication Techniques and Results.

Abstract

Various procedures and techniques have been established to fabricate surface wave devices in the 30 to 150 MHz frequency range. The type of surface wave devices fabricated include delay lines, bandpass filters and pulse compression filters. Emphasis was placed on developing a simple procedure having reasonable yield so that a given model could be successfully fabricated using a minimum of acoustic substrates, with a minimum of fabrication time and effort. The devices were evaluated and compared, where possible, to outside laboratory results. (Author)
