Neptune-C Electron Beams.

Abstract

The purpose of the studies reported here was to characterize the electron beams emitted by Neptune-C. The characteristics of particular interest were the reproducibility and uniformity of the beams, the fluence transmitted through carbon as a function of distance in the carbon, and the number of pulses that an experimenter can expect to use during an 8-hr run.
